OMG. I bought this for my 7year old son & he can't put it down.He is playing Pokemon Platinum & this book is very helpful withtelling him how to catch certain Pokemon. It also listed everysingle pokemon creature there is, & gives a complete run down ofhow they evolve, their powers, etc.Highly reccommended to anyone who loves Pokemon.
this book is great for kids who love pokemon it has almost all the pokemon in the pokeworld. like pikachu. it is from the new pokemon diamond & pearl. it is the best pokemon book in the world.
Hard to tell from the picture but this book is huge. I love this book and it really, really helped me a lot.
Now that I have the book I've almost finished the Pokedex. 8 year old son says: Before I got the Diamond and Pearl Pokedex my Pokemon number was about 40 seen in my Pokemon Diamond DS game.
Just one more Pokemon to go. This book has helped me sooo much.

It helps you track down those elusive pokemon like Rotom, gives you helpful tips and tricks and even helps you track down more poketch applications. I bought this just simply because I wanted a handy carry around pokedex with me so that I can plan out my movesets and such. What more could you want from a guide. This book turned out to be the most used book outta the two volumes. Not only does it give you a complete pokedex it gives you a "after-game" guide which is pretty concise unlike it's prior version. I've got the official Nintendo book, but it does not provide a complete pokedex nor does it help you after you beat the Elite Four, which is sorta crappy to be honest. If you also want a handy portable pokedex then this is the guide for you hands down.
I highly recommend this book to any Pokemon fan. He has Aspergers Disorder, he loves reading stats and he's crazy about Pokemon. My son is going to flip when he gets this for Christmas. I went through tons of books and reviews and as far as I'm concerned, this is the best Pokedex out there. He reads at a much higher level than the average his age. This book has so much info in it, I'm going to have a hard time getting him to put this book down. Every Pokemon is in this, including more info than one could imagine in one book. It puts the smaller Pokedexes to shame.
